Dear men, do you know what are the best ways to have perfect hair in every situation? Thanks to our advice, we’re going to discover the most effective hair care treatments for your scalp and the correct daily routines for an always perfect cut! Hair is a very important part of one’s appearance: it’s no coincidence that a man’s look and character depend largely on his haircut. In fact, hair can denote a completely different appearance and even change the physiognomy of the face. It must be taken care of day after day, with the help of small tricks, and this does not only apply to women! So, here are our best tips for perfect hair care for the male audience.

Looking for the right daily routine

A good hairdresser can work miracles, but if we don’t want to always depend on his magic hands, it will be better to learn how to manage the situation by ourselves. Following a good haircare routine made of healthy habits and the right products is essential:

  • You must always use the right tools to avoid deteriorating your hair: comb with soft and natural bristles, more suitable for hair that tends to break, quality hair dryer and straightener. Remember to keep the hair dryer at least 25 cm away from the head
  • You must also pay attention to how you sleep, preferring silk pillowcases to those made of cotton or a synthetic blend
  • Wash your hair with lukewarm water, excessive heat could wash away the natural sebum of the hair shafts with inevitable weakening
  • Use a professional shampoo
  • In case of a windy or rainy day, protect your hair with a hat. Fear not, the right hat will leave your crease intact.

Use moisturizing masks

Ever thought about doing a mask? If you’re not experienced ask mom, sisters or girlfriend, otherwise trust us! Hair masks are emulsions composed of conditioning agents that give more moisture, softness and volume to the hair. They are useful to protect the hair from pollution and stress, but also help with hairstyles and to control the haircut.
Masks are also divided according to two types of use, with or without rinsing. Those with rinses are applied to wet hair, after washing and rinsing thoroughly. They are left on for a few minutes and then rinsed off. The masks without rinsing instead apply and let it absorb. In this case you can immediately move on to drying, with or without a hair dryer.

Change old habits

Use less shampoo and always remember to gently pat dry with the help of a soft towel. Rubbing vigorously only ruins and breaks your hair, leaving it frizzy. The hair becomes weighed down due to the residue from the products used accumulating. To avoid shampooing every day, experts recommend rinsing with water only.

Are you familiar with dry shampoo?

Available in spray or loose powder form, dry shampoo is generally made up of starch, talc and purifying extracts that can absorb excess sebum, impurities or bad odor from the hair. Widely used to cleanse the hair on the fly in critical moments – such as a last-minute appointment – without resorting to the use of water and the classic shampoo, this product is also a valuable ally for the creation of hairstyles, because it gives body and volume without the need to backcomb the hair.

It should not be used as an alternative to washing the hair, but as a spacing between washes. It’s good for your hair because it reduces stress from frequent cleansing and styling, but dry shampoo is also good for the environment because it helps save water, products, energy and, therefore, money.

Even changing the time of washing can help: if your hair is fine, it is recommended to wash it before going to bed, instead of doing it in the morning. It will then be enough to apply a small dose of fixing lotion in the morning to give your hair more volume.

Hair care through proper nutrition

Good men’s hair care can be had by taking care of your diet too!
Hair is made up largely of protein, which is why you need to include a natural source of iron at every meal, eating lean red meat, fish, eggs, cheese, yogurt and legumes and nuts. In addition, you should be careful to take sufficient amounts of omega-3 essential fatty acids, found in organic fish and meat, organic eggs and plant-based foods such as flaxseed, chia seeds and walnuts.

For perfect, thick, strong hair, on the other hand, you need to stock up on silica, which is found in bananas, beer, raisins and oats. Spinach, broccoli, chard and dark green vegetables in general are also rich in vitamins A and C and contribute to the well-being of the scalp (on which much of hair health depends).

Massage your scalp

Among the good rules of men’s hair treatment there is definitely the scalp massage, using olive oil or almond oil, essential nutrients especially during the classic months of the fall, between autumn and winter. How to treat men’s hair by making a massage? The purpose is to stimulate circulation, stimulating the hair bulbs: use your fingertips softly in a circular way, without haste, from the temples to the nape of the neck.
